DFW Prom Limo & Party Bus
The Complete 2026 Guide

Everything Metroplex families need to book prom night right — which vehicle fits your group, how far in advance to reserve, what's included, and why fixed pricing matters on the biggest night of the year.

Fixed Rates — No Surprises Strict No-Alcohol Policy Owner-Operated 24/7 Dispatch Fort Worth Moms recommended vendor badge FW Moms Recommended

Prom night transportation in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex books out faster than any other event we handle — faster than weddings, faster than stadium nights. DFW prom season runs March through May, and the right vehicles for the popular dates are gone 6 to 8 weeks out. This guide covers every decision you need to make: which vehicle, how many seats, what's included, what to watch for, and why fixed pricing is the only kind that makes sense on a night with this much at stake.

QTS serves prom groups from every corner of the Metroplex — Southlake Carroll, Allen, Frisco, Highland Park, Colleyville Heritage, Keller, Flower Mound, Plano, and every school in between. Our prom and homecoming transportation is built around one principle: parents should not spend prom night worried about where their kids are or whether the driver showed up. We solve that completely.

Fort Worth Moms badge

QTS Black Car & Limo is a Fort Worth Moms recommended vendor — the only luxury transportation company in DFW with that designation. Thousands of North Texas families have trusted us for school events, weddings, and milestone nights.

Booking Timeline

How Early Should You Book a Prom Limo in DFW?

Book 6 to 8 weeks before prom night — and earlier if your group wants a party bus or a stretch limo on a Saturday. DFW prom season runs from mid-March through late May, with the highest demand falling in April and early May. Vehicles for Saturday nights in those months are the first to go.

8–10 Weeks Out

Ideal window. All vehicles available. Best selection of party buses and limos. Route can be fully customized without constraints.

4–6 Weeks Out

Still possible. Party buses for popular Saturday dates may already be taken. SUV and smaller limo options typically still available.

Under 4 Weeks

High risk. Peak-date party buses are frequently sold out. Call immediately rather than booking online — we may have cancellation availability.

In the DFW Metroplex, prom dates are set by each school district and often cluster on the same weekends. Southlake Carroll, Keller ISD schools, Allen, and Plano Senior tend to book early April. Frisco ISD, Colleyville Heritage, Flower Mound, and Highland Park typically fall in late April and early May. If your school's prom falls on any of those peak weekends, treat the booking window as 8 weeks minimum — not 6.

Comparison

Party Bus vs. Stretch Limo — Which Is Better for Prom?

For groups over 12 students, a party bus almost always wins. For smaller, more intimate groups of 6 to 10 who want the classic prom look and a dramatic grand entrance, a stretch limo is the better choice. The right answer depends entirely on your group size and what matters most for the night.

Stretch Limo — The Classic Choice

Stretch Limousine

The iconic prom vehicle. Seats up to 18 passengers in a face-to-face cabin with a full bar setup, LED lighting, and privacy tint. Best for groups that want the classic limo aesthetic and a dramatic arrival at the venue entrance.

  • Maximum passenger comfort for groups under 18
  • Dramatic exterior — the classic prom arrival look
  • Face-to-face seating great for smaller, tighter groups
  • LED interior, bar setup, premium sound system

Safety First

Safety Rules and Parent Peace of Mind on Prom Night

Every QTS prom booking operates under a strict no-alcohol, no-smoking policy — enforced without exception. Our chauffeurs are trained to identify and respond to any safety concern, including the authority to pull over and contact a parent or dispatch if necessary. We take the protection of minors more seriously than any other aspect of a prom booking.

Zero-Tolerance No-Alcohol Policy

No alcohol, no vaping, no smoking is permitted in any QTS vehicle for any prom booking. Our chauffeurs are authorized to terminate the trip if the policy is violated. This is not negotiable and parents are informed of this policy before booking is confirmed.

Background-Checked Chauffeurs Only

Every QTS chauffeur undergoes a comprehensive background check, MVR review, and drug screening before their first shift. They are not gig workers — they are professional chauffeurs who have agreed to our code of conduct for minor passenger groups.

Parent Communication Line

We provide a direct chauffeur contact number to the parent or guardian coordinator before departure. Parents receive a confirmation call at pickup and again at drop-off. You will never spend prom night wondering where your student is.

Parental Consent Form Required

All prom bookings involving students under 18 require a signed parental consent form on file before the vehicle departs. This is standard procedure and cannot be waived. Forms are sent digitally during the booking confirmation process.

Safety protocol verified by Michael Varrone, Owner — QTS Black Car & Limo. All policies above are actively enforced on every prom booking. Contact Michael directly at (945) 212-1412 with any safety-related questions before booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

DFW Prom Transportation FAQ

Direct answers to the questions QTS receives most often from DFW parents and prom groups.

How far in advance should I book a prom limo or party bus in DFW?

Book 6 to 8 weeks before prom night — and earlier for party buses and stretch limos on Saturday dates, which sell out fastest. March and April prom season in DFW is extremely competitive. Groups of 10 or more should book by February to guarantee their preferred vehicle.

How many students fit in a prom party bus in DFW?

QTS party buses range from 20 to 45 passengers depending on the coach. A 20-passenger party bus comfortably fits most small prom groups. For larger groups of 30 to 45 students, the 37- or 40-passenger coaches are the right fit. All seating capacities are fixed — we do not overload vehicles for safety.

What is the minimum rental time for a prom limo or party bus?

Prom night packages are typically booked for 4 to 6 hours to cover pre-prom photos, venue arrival, prom itself, and after-prom dining. QTS does not enforce a rigid hourly minimum for prom — we quote based on your full itinerary. Contact us for a custom prom package quote.

Is there a parent chaperone requirement for prom transportation in Texas?

QTS does not require a parent chaperone inside the vehicle, but we do require a signed parental consent form for groups under 18. We recommend coordinating a parent contact point at every stop on the itinerary. Our chauffeurs follow a strict code of conduct and report immediately if any safety concern arises.

Does QTS have a no-alcohol policy for prom transportation?

Yes — strictly enforced. No alcohol is permitted in any QTS vehicle for any prom booking. Our chauffeurs are trained to enforce this policy and will terminate the trip if the policy is violated. We take the safety of minors seriously. This is non-negotiable.

What is included in a QTS prom limo package?

Every QTS prom booking includes a professionally uniformed chauffeur, a pre-cleaned and detailed vehicle, a customizable route itinerary, real-time dispatch support, and a fixed rate locked at booking. There are no surge fees on prom night. Red carpet service and complimentary water are standard on all prom bookings.

Can we customize the prom route and make multiple stops?

Yes. QTS builds custom prom itineraries for every booking. Common multi-stop prom routes include pre-prom photos at a parent's home, pickup of additional group members across the suburb, arrival at the prom venue, and post-prom dinner at a restaurant. All stops are confirmed before the night and your chauffeur follows the route exactly.

What DFW high schools do you serve for prom transportation?

QTS serves every high school in the DFW Metroplex including Southlake Carroll, Highland Park, Allen, Frisco Wakeland, Frisco Lone Star, Plano Senior, Plano West, Keller, Colleyville Heritage, Flower Mound, and hundreds more across Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, and Denton counties. We cover all 12 counties in our service area.
